Sarah Gangstad is co-founder and partner at Fugate Gangstad Lowe. Sarah practices family law and counsels her clients through difficult times such as divorce as well as assisting clients with guardianships and support modifications and enforcement.
Sarah gained admittance into the Illinois Bar in 2008 and the Indiana Bar in 2009. Sarah has worked for the Indiana Department of Education, with McDoermott, Will and Emery in Illinois, Chicago Legal Advocates for Incarcerated Mothers, the Indiana Court of Appeals, and has been practicing family law since 2014.
Sarah has focused on helping children throughout her life as a teacher, counselor, parent and attorney. Sarah understands the effect that family law matters have on both parents and children and counsels her clients to ensure they achieve their goals while minimizing the personal and emotional impacts.
Sarah lives in Carmel with her family. She enjoys traveling, reading, good food, and yoga. She currently serves on the board of Family Voices of Indiana. Sarah was named to the 2019 Super Lawyer’s List of Rising Stars.
