If you are looking into buying a franchise and want to know what is in the Franchise Disclosure Document or what is in your potential competitors' Franchise Disclosure Document, Wisconsin has a great database for you to review. It is a great way to see what the potential royalties, marketing fees, update fees and other expenses you will have as an franchisee. If you combine this resource with California's we previously posted about you should be able to get a good idea of what the FDD will look like before you contact the franchisor and get their sales pitch.
